Adulthood

Whatever an enemy can do to an enemy, or a foe to a foe, the ill-directed mind can do to itself, and even worse.
— Buddha

Creating a business has been a process full of ups and downs, which is not at all uncommon for even the most seasoned of entrepreneurs.  However, I am very young, and starting a business while simultaneously learning the ins and outs of adulthood has been...interesting, to say the least.

If I were to rename my mind, in light of the past few years of life, it would be called "Adversary #1". Sure, that may sound a bit harsh, but it's accurate. Self-doubt, as I have experienced and seen, has the ability to be the one single, solitary force that stops some of the most brilliant minds from sharing their gifts with the world.

So, I am taking a stand against "Adversary #1" (!) and defining my reality according to my passion for creating mural art. I am excited for the future. After years of dabbling in multiple majors, reading extensively, and consulting with some of the wisest people the world has ever known, how could I be any more ready? All of the things that I erroneously thought were a waste of time, a seemingly endless train of derailments, have all contributed to this beautiful moment of insight. After all, "they" say that when you approach 30, you gain all the clarity you didn't even know you were looking for during the first decade of adulthood. So, let's have a virtual toast to growing up and into our passions, no matter what your age!
